On September 18, 2026, a regional seminar titled "The Fight Against Drug Addiction and Drug Trafficking" was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Ismayilli, organized by the Republican Union of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ RB).

The seminar was attended by 70 trade union activists representing 12 district committees under the service area of the ADİİXİ Hİ Republican Union.

During the event, comprehensive discussions were held on key issues including the prevention of drug abuse, rehabilitation of individuals affected by addiction, their integration into society and the labor market, as well as the vital role of the family and social environment in combatting this issue. Emphasis was placed on raising awareness and strengthening preventive measures to protect society, particularly the youth, from harmful habits.

Alongside representatives of the ADİİXİ Hİ Republican Union, officials from the Ismayilli District Executive Power and the Ismayilli District Police Department also participated in the seminar, addressing essential aspects of the subject and sharing relevant recommendations.
