The Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law "On Trade Unions" and international Conventions in the relevant field to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party, normative legal documents of the International Trade Union Confederation, and other legislative acts related to the activities of trade unions.
The trade union acts as a professional bridge between the employee and the employer. The primary mission of this organization is to resolve issues that an employee cannot solve individually, within the framework of legislation and through collective strength.
Protects the legitimate rights and interests of its members and organizations before state bodies, employers' associations, and other social and political organizations.
Submits proposals for the improvement of working conditions and ensuring a healthy and safe work environment for trade union members.
Exercises public control over the implementation of existing employment legislation and takes measures to achieve fair remuneration for labor.
