On September 10, an extraordinary meeting of the Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.

Speaking at the meeting, Khaliq Rahmanov, Head of the Apparatus of the Ministry of Finance, and Hikmat Nabiyev, Chairman of the Republican Union of the Trade Union of State Institutions and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan (ADİİXİ Hİ RB), highly appreciated the activities of the Trade Union Committee. It was noted that the Committee has implemented consistent measures to protect the labor rights and legal interests of employees, create a healthy and favorable working environment in the team, support the efficient organization of social welfare and leisure time, and provide employees with vouchers to sanatoria and recreation centers.

In accordance with the charter, the new compositions of the Trade Union Committee and the Auditing Commission were formed, with the Trade Union Committee approved with 11 members and the Auditing Commission with 3 members. Bahruz Mammadov, Head of the Finance and Provision Department of the Ministry, was elected as the new Chairman of the Trade Union Committee.

At the end, the former Chairman of the Committee, Eldar Mahmudov, was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the ADİİXİ Hİ Republican Union for his long-term and effective services in trade union activities.
